While the Lebovic
name is synonymous with quality home building, commercial and industrial
development as well as land development, the family is also well
know for its exceptional philanthropy. The Canadian Cancer Society,
Centenary Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and York University have
all benefited from the generosity of the Levovics, whose donations
have exceeded millions of dollars. The late Harry Lebovic, father
of Joe and Willy, founded the company. Joe and Willy regularly donate
20% of their entire annual earnings to charity. Lebovic has been
a member of the Greater Toronto Home Builders Association since
1969. Joe Lebovic has also served as national president of the Urban
